Chocolate Rain

Oh Sh*t. Ths is crazy. Dude named Tay Zonday's got this crazy track called "Chocolate Rain", and this next video feature is him performing it live on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Probably the weirdest performance I've seen in a while, but I think it's still pretty cool.
Now, if you thought that was just his onstage voice, check the interview after the performance: "This is CNN". lol.
Wow, I'm loling quite abit these days, kinda weird
Yeah, I don't know about the chick on the side though... I think she's supposed to complete a nigga's optical diet- those legs- what what...

PEACE.

Bonkers

Return of The Rascal- yes, it is Dizzee Rascal, and yes- it is Bonkers. I guess it's off his new album and niggas are hailing it as the dopeness in the comments section, with such Chanelle-like comments as "MASSSIVVEE CHOOOOOOOOOOONN!",  I swear. lol.
It isn't grimey, though, that is rather disappointing. Feels like he's coming down to the level of the Soulja Boy Tell 'em's of this world that just want to create a danceable track and forget about substance.
I don't even know what to say about the video, though I do like the bits where it's slowed down and there's like a house party going down- otherwisely, I think this nigga is going to be had on like a collossal scale for this 'cuz he's like come from this whole ghetto- gangster demographic, where niggas just don't want to lose props, so this video is just- I don't know man, throw me some comments.
It's a nice track, though, just not as down right grimey as your usual Dizzee Rascal material.
It's just bonkers.

Twitter

Sh*T, F*ck Twitter! I swear, if I get on twitter, I'll blame it on peer pressure (I can imagine some bu O.C wobble-heads go: "OMG, Miley Cirus is on twitter!"*Scream like they just saw Tupac*"OMG!, I've sooooo got to twitter that". Sorry, I think I got my WWW grammar wrong: The verb is to tweet .
One guy said, of this video,:
"Yes... follow people on Twitter. Follow celebs on Twitter. You can be the ultimate stalker, stalk you favorite celeb or the girl you have had a crush on since highschool. Be the best stalker you can be and follow your target today!"
Haha, my font's sort of messed up now. But yeah, I also wouldn't join Twitter, cuz I'd forget the password in under 5 MINUTES! Yeah. Just realised I say yeah at the weirdest times.
Yeah.

King of the Bumpkins? WTF?

Y'all probably didn't get that 'cause I hadn't posted it.
Ladies and Gentlemen: Lark on my go-kart, Asher Roth's first single off upcoming debut album Asleep in the bread aisle.

Asher Roth vs. Eminem?

Eminem is one of those people that really should never hold a gun or be president, he's so flippantly, relentlessly reckless. Dude could have anyone (I guess after he was done dissing his mom, there was no holds barred)- check this. He wanted to have Amy Winehouse to do a song with him on the new album, but she said she couldn't (she was like somewhere between two rehabs) so what does the good Mr. Mathers do? I don't even have to say it.
So yeah, this kid Asher Roth comes out of  American Suburbia and becomes a pretty big deal, what with the simmilarity to Eminem and mad quirk. So if life went according to script, Eminem would be doing the equivalent of Ja Ruling Ash Roth. Nope.
In June's issue of XXL, which he covers, the real Slim Shady (is it just me or was that a little cheesy?) goes and packs Mr. "I Love College" in an unexpected turn of events.
Here's the "King of the Bumpkins"' response.
Sorry kids, no beefing here.

Amazing!

"It's amazing, so amazing...", words from the chorus of Kanye's newest single of 808s (probably the last)- brilliant shots of Hawaii and epic shots of the subject- Mr. West himself, I'm telling you, the art level on this is just too sick. I'm not even gonna be wordy on this, though I do know the demographic's gonna love this more than they did "Welcome to Heartbreak"- it isn't as complicated... (simpletons!).
Did I say I wasn't going to be too wordy?
So yeah, the video's followed by an interview on 106&Park, where this video must have been recorded from. The guy in the back is GLC (Gangster Life Crisis [not GNL{or the body guard}]), Kanye's supposed best friend (since they were 15) and cosign on G.O.O.D Music. I might post his newest video on here in abit. The interview takes a turn (that desreves to be christened the Kanye).
Did I perhaps mention... Jeezy?

Onwards

Today, I revived my caricaturing "career", while I waited for my ICT practical (which I murdered) when I drew this guy called Cham- that is, an exaggerated version of his countenance, the definition of a caricature. So seeing this video, I felt it was only right that I post this. It's a sort of promotion for Nike brought to you by James Jarvis (or vice versa). This guy's style actually reminds me of Kaws and his use of contrast with a style of hatching reminiscent of Victorian illustrators (no, I didn't copy and paste that). Besides the apparent simplicity of this piece, you can see that the use of layers and attention to details only picked up by an eye in the socket of one with a knack for these things.
In otherwards I dig this. I daresay it inspired me.

I'm so special!

So special, so special, so special!
True that. This has sorta become a mantra wit some of my friends.
I'm so special! Mavado is a badi guuuuuy.
I can't tell what he's saying alot of the time, though. The chorus works for me.

Drizzy!

This is mad crazy, Drake's a Canadian rapper now affiliated wit Weezy's Young Money. I think he sounds like a more mentally organised Weezy. Matter of fact, I think I could like this character better than the former. Matter of fact, I think it's him on that Obama song that takes the beat off Amili.

My cousin V
Influenched Udalricham,
who influenced me-
now Imma go  influencin err-y-bo-dy...

Man's got a new mixtape out called So Far Gone wit a lot of RnB ish that sounds pretty doe. This next track is a chpped and screwed remix which also sounds terribly doe. The album's coming out.
I'm not buying it. Ate where?

Ratteplan

I don't even know what that means, though I do know it is a streetwear brand made in The Netherlands. Like Vans, it seems to represent a lifestyle- riding bicycles, I presume (BMXs, not Roadmasters, Mehul). I had an opportunity to ride a BMX over the Easter holiday, lowrider made me feel like a Cool Kid (Black Mags was playin in my head as I lived out Power Ranger- like fantasies) The picture is a link to the website and the video is the afore-mentioned Black Mags.

Dude...

You know those surfers that ride freakin' hurricanes and get washed ashore, say "totally righteous, dude,", with the dazed look then pass out? I kinda feel like that... I think (never been on a surf board), cuz I feel so drained right now, like a microwaved orange or something along those lines.

It's crazy.

I'm about to embark on one of the most pivotal exercises of my life, but right now, I'd much rather talk about this girl I've been with the past couple of days. She's been giving me hell. One of those ones that you don't see coming, next thing you know, she's in a lot deeper than is healthy-

Her name is Z-connect and the worst thing about her is she cut my wings when I was about to soar, tried to keep me within bounds when I wanted more (it rhymes). So yeah, the worst thing about this virus (yes, virus) is that she cut my internet connection and put her self up for self promotion (again, it rhymes). First, I could delete it and I'd be good for like 15 minutes, but then it evolved (Michael Crichton sh*t) and started harming me more often ,at more regular intervals, started snippin the line, chewin on more of the internals (I can't help it, I'm sorry).

So it keeps getting worse and at the end of the day I couldn't locate the virus, but could see its effects. It slowly spread until it finally took a chunk out of my D drive. That was it. I had to format my Dearest and now I'm faced with a "Second Chance" situation.
"This is the new Salvador" lol.

We Made You

Hahaha! Just saw this video, it's pretty hilarious if you have a good bone. So yeah, second Eminem single (Crack a bottle sucked), in a while. I'm telling you, I was sorely disappointed But this one might have prospects. It isn't even funny cause of Eminem. Watch, you'll see what I mean. It absolutely got me- hook and line and sinker and hook. PEA(E.

Musings from the Deep

I happened to stumble upon this nice blog called Musings from the Deep. It's put together by a mum of five and that's what it's mostly about.
I must admit, when I check out blogs like that and eizzy k's My Cipher keep rolling like a rolling stone, it sorta makes my own blog seem stupidly superficial, but then again... um... I don't remember my excuse but it was along the lines of: you get something different from each of the blogs on blogspot and Wordpress, so I guess it's useless to be comparng myself to the others. Anyhowly, it's a really warm one. Shoutouts to Sunflower and them. Check out Musings from the Deep.
PEACE.

Erykah Badu Freestyling?

Word? Same G.O.O.D Music segment at the Levi's Fader Show via SXSW. She's pretty up on the age but those tights still look like they holding dangerous items. Kanye is on this too I know Eizzy K will be digging this (again, the advantages of smaller establishments), but hold up- WORD? Common's head was also in this, though he didn't get caught spitting in this vid.

IntroducinG... Big Sean

Big Sean, newly signed onto Kanye's G.O.O.D music. This next one is a freestyle also from SXSW. I know I'm late on this and all, but... no, no excuses. At least it's all good ish, yeah? Yeah. This clip is taken from a freestlye Big Sean did before G.O.O.D Music went on stage at SXSW. It's sick. I don't usually listen to freestyles- unless they're Lil Wayne's- cuz they're usually bull. This was really doe (pun intended) lol @ "she rockin' Sean John". you'll get it when you get the whole thing. His new album Finally Famous is due out sometime and to catch up on all his pages (myspace, facebook, twitter, blog), go to his official website here PEA(E.

We major- download

Get this. The video I posted with Kanye, GLC and Really Doe was them doing a song of Kanye's Late Registration Album. Follow the link if you want the song. When you get to the site, sh*t might need to get figured out, but- figure it out!

We Major.

Mr. West also took advantage SXSW to showcase the current G.O.O.D Music family and in the following vid, we see GLC (Gangsta L Crisis), Really Doe and the Louie Vuitton Don perform We Major. The sound quality isn't very good, but if you missed the show as most of the rest of us did, atleast it looks like you were there.

Black Mags (Remix) (ft. Asher Roth) (LiVE!)

So down at SXSW ((South by Southwest), some annual music carnival artsy extravaganza that wrapped it's sh!t up a week or two ago, The Cool Kids performed Black Mags, their break out track featuring... guess who... AsHer Roth! Yeah, dude doesn't always impress, but that time he spazzed.
I think he was high, though (check out the over exuberant head pumping), or he'd just done his hair and was flossating, or the music was that good- NO, the first possibility seems more press friendly. Imagine the Headline:
Are your kids listening to this Crackpot? Be verry afraid!

Sky Might Fall

Kid Cudi's back again with only his second official release- an unofficial soundtrack to an unreleased movie. The song is Sky Might Fall and the movie is Transformers: Return of The Decepticons. My connection is buggin out right now, pretty frustrating is what UG's internet is.

Regarding Lil' Wayne

By the way, my prior post brought to the fore the fact that I haven't said a thing about "Mr.-Make-it-rain-on-'em-hoes"' transition. He's doing a rock album now. That doesn't surprise me, given the fact that he's been sounding a little howley (going hard on the autotune, no doubt). Figured maybe you had not seen "Prom Queen", the first single off the album. The video premiered on Facebook a couple of months ago and only just recently leaked elsewhere.
No. I couldn't get you the vid, the ones currently on Vimeo and YouTube net are too full of sh*t to be posted on here. What I can get you, though, is the link so you can download it.

"Slooow"

XXLmag.com described this as a group, their favourite alternative Hip Hop group, in not so many words. So this had me waiting for someone to roll out the rhymes and spaaaaaazz!
Nope.
Some people out there in the world might like it, though.
I thought it was annoying, though artistically, it was pretty creative going by the concept behind the video and how it got down with the music in such a dark, seventies way.
Must be the transitions between shots... or one of those things... yeah, those ones...
